Whirlpool Appliance Repair Avoids Mishaps

Just because you got the brand Whirlpool doesn’t mean you wanted an actual whirlpool of water flooding your basement. Washers can leak from multiple places, just two of which being the tub seal and the water pump. A washer should wash your clothes, not the floor, and when it starts to do that too it means that you need to call for Whirlpool appliance repair.

Common problems for a washer are that the spin cycle does not begin, it doesn’t fill with water, or it overfills and/or leaks. Basically your machines drive coupler attaches to the motor, and the transmission to the spin tub. Some might have a belt connecting the motor to the gears. If the cycle doesn’t start it could be one of a few reasons causing it. Is the lid switch operational? Does it click shut and register as closed? Some machines won’t start unless the lid shuts. The other common error is that the motor coupler breaks. In this case you will definitely need Whirlpool appliance repair to get a new one installed to spin the transmission.

If the washer isn’t filling, or is overfilling that’s a whole other story. That’s an issue with the water valves and pressure switches. These control the water supply for each laundry load. These can sometimes get clogged with debris or the valves aren’t mixing the water. Also check the hoses these attach to. The pressure switch may not be activating from a plug in the hose. Once again, if you’tre unsure how to fix it then call a professional.

These are easy remedies for washer problems.
