Skip The Laundromat
The laundromat is not a safe place for your favorite pair of slacks. Back in college there was a lot of kids who did their laundry at a local laundromat and often these people ran into problems of theft and other issues. 
Recently when the dryer went on the fritz my roommates and I found ourselves in similar positions. Procrastinating on a simple Maytag dryer repair had us stuck in the local laundromat.
True to form one day I dozed off amidst a load in the washer and another in the dryer. Something about the laundromat, maybe it is the whooshing whirring white noise of the machines or the oppressive glow of the fluorescent lighting, can easily lull you to sleep. If you do though, you might learn of people’s desperate nature the hard way. I woke up to my clothing scattered out of the near by dryer, strewn about the laundromat floor with my favorite pair of slacks missing.
Of course my immediate response was collecting my things and making the call for Maytag dryer repair. It was important and simply had to be done as soon as possible. Within a few days we were back in business. Those lost slacks were there to remind me of my wrong doing.
