Simple Maytag Dryer Repair
A friend recently complained of his landlord’s failure to inform the entirety of his apartment building of a dryer malfunction that nearly derailed his whole weekend. Instead of conveniently waiting to do his laundry he threw a hug load into the washing machine happily expecting to have it dried in an hour or so. When he attempted to use the dryer it made a strange noise and stopped dead. He called the landlord who said “Oh yeah, it’s been broken for days.”
“Days?!” he thought. “Why was I not informed BEFORE I shoved all of my clothing in the washing machine?!”
Needless to say he was mad. He was made all the more mad a few days later when a simple Maytag dryer repair took less than a half hour. Why was the problem not addressed right away? Why was the landlord so apprehensive to pull the trigger on some common sense Maytag dryer repair? Why was he stuck in his apartment hanging clothes lines to dry his entire wardrobe for two days?
These questions it would seem really do not have a proper answer. Instead the whole experience was just a result of a person kicking their responsibilities down the road. For shame.
